“I am 66 years old and my dad got me interested in aircraft as a child. I started with balsa gliders, kites, and U-control, and moved on to RC as a teenager. My interest led to my training as a private pilot in high school, and then on to an aeronautical engineer in college. I worked in the aerospace industry on commercial, military, and space programs for over 40 years before retirement. I currently instruct aerospace related subject matter in local STEM classes and to my grandchildren. I use my career experience, scale models, RC aircraft, and simulators as teaching aides. This hobby has been successful throughout my lifetime. Why regulate now?”
