“I have been scratch building, kit building and flying for 40 years. Most of my flying has been with an organized club that developed their own safety rules including joining the AMA. We have never had a major accident or issue that would question our ability to fly safely and I believe the proposed regulations have gone too far and will greatly impact a hobby I have enjoyed for 40 years. That being said, when it comes to drones that may impact human life, there needs to be some stronger regulations. But line of sight aircraft flying should not incur any more regulations.”
