“I just started with fpv flying drones less than 100 grams. I used to fly my Mavic Air and Zoom, but stopped as restrictions started coming out. I get more out of the flying experience through fpv than I did with my Mavics. The Mavics were more for photography than flying. I totally understand not flying near airports or over houses. I fly my smaller drones at the Forrest preserves near my house. I just recently got my 15 year old nephew into it. Now, I am not sure if it will be worth it for him to progress outside of his backyard. I myself have little interest in flying fpv beyond 300 grams because of the cost without the extra components and weight that ID would add.”
