“I am a math and science teacher and design, build and fly both recreationally and with my students. I am concerned that some of the proposed changes may make it impossible to continue allowing my students to experience and learn from the design and flight of their aircraft. There is no way to have them all join a club or even travel to a designated site to do this. not to mention the logistics and cost to outfit each airplane with a remote id device. I believe we can find a good compromise to the proposed rules that will both advance safety and not unnecessarily hinder recreation and education.”
