“FPV (First Person View Drones) is not just a hobby for me, nor is it just my full time business. To me, FPV is the perfect opportunity to change the way in which children learn physics, circuits, math, coding, engineering, and art. Building a drone can provide children with different strategies to apply complex concepts they are otherwise taught to memorize, to a real-world application. Not only are they learning the fundamentals of STEAM, but they are developing and fine-tuning their motor skills, procedural and working memory, problem-solving and critical thinking skills through this super FUN naturalistic hands-on approach. The proposed regulations will hinder if not end all of the educational opportunities that remote control aircraft can offer these children as well as their families in school and at home.”
