“Ive always been a recreational pilot. I started in the 60s with my Dad. He was an air traffic controller in the military and this was our fun together. Models, rubber band flight and later nitro flight. We didn’t have a club but we did have a military base. I learned physical safety and responsibility as a model pilot. I hate to see kids lose the chance to learn.”
