“Pilots of all skills & ages would no longer be able to enjoy the recreational aspect of the hobby if these regulations are proposed. Remote ID for fixed wing aircraft is an invasion of privacy & all pilots would not feel in full control of their aircraft. Remote ID would also place an unnecessary financial burden & virtually handcuff pilots if these regulations are proposed. However Remote ID regulation would be more suited to Drones & Quadcopter pilots as these are the models which have caused worldwide issues concerning public commercial flight safety & privacy! Regulate the Drone & long range pilots, NOT the recreational fixed wing pilots please. I myself & many others worldwide am a safe & recreational fixed wing pilot who enjoys the hobby as a way to relax, de stress from work & connect with other pilots, and have done so for more than 10 years (since 2008)., So with all this in mind, please DO NOT introduce these regulations.
