“Flying matters to me because it is how I feel accomplished. I can start with some carbon fiber, motors, and a few PCBs and a couple days later can have a fully functional drone. It’s how I meet incredibly talented people. The technical logic required to build a drone helps me in my day to day, whether it’s fixing the coffee maker at work or installing a ceiling fan in my folks home. These are things I would not have been able to do if I hadn’t found this hobby. Flying in itself helps my attain a whole new perspective, literally. To see an area from the sky (via fpv) is a sensation like none other. This hobby, in its entirety, from building to trouble shooting, to flying, is a part of my life that has a positive impact on the rest of my life.”
