“The regulations would make me a criminal, since just flying my sub 150gr quadcopters in my own yard would be illegal. The educational aspect of getting kids into flying means they are really well set for our future, which will undoubtedly be a growing part of everything, would also be harder to access. Whenever i can i show, tell and educate on dynamics of flight, security in knowing your limits/current regulations, and with these legislations i wouldn’t know how to even start (well, i would because i couldn’t fly at all). If the FAA gets through with these implications on hobbyists flying possibilities, the European unions for regulation and safety would quickly try and enforce the same strict control. I will become a criminal since i will not stop flying, and do whatever i can to obstruct and resist these new rules.”
