“As an educator and member of Civil Air Patrol, it has been my passion and privilege to bring youth, ages 6-18, into the world of aviation. One of the best way to get students interested in aviation, and the STEM topics that connect with it, is to get them flying a model. Rules that limit flying locations to clubs put a barrier in front of a whole new generation of aviation enthusiasts. With pilot shortages, we need to capture kids at an early age.”
