“Building and flying remote control aircraft has been a hobby of mine for many years. I enjoy getting out to practice my flying and to visit with other flyers. I have just within the last year become very interested in drones. I use my drone (dji Mavic Air) for strictly recreational purposes, and it is nice not to worry about meeting some government regulation, except flying in controlled airspace, every time I want to go fly, and that works for both fixed wing and drones. Some regulations are helpful and will keep the sport safe. However, it is too easy to go overboard, and I believe that that would hurt the sport, businesses and school programs.”
