“RC is the only way I was able to have access to aviation before I joined the Navy. These regulations would propose an unnecessary burden to entry into the hobby. Furthermore, the majority of reported incursions are by commercial drones, operated by aviation (hobby &/or general) illiterate consumers who have no appreciation for what/where they are flying. A knowledge test would be helpful in all areas of UASs. Remote ID as proposed would also be easier enforced and implemented in commercial platforms.”
