“I’m concerned because there seems to be no risk assessment report, to give reason for the new rules. It additionally appears that corporate interests and lobbyists have written this up in an attempt to wipe out all the existing hobby builders and the environments they fly in. What we do is not dangerous to the public and deserves no new regulations or added costs. This hobby improves lives and is a crucial source of education, innovation and the opening the door for new ideas in aviation and robotics. I’ve been building and flying for 6 years now, starting with foam board builds and then FPV multi rotors of all sizes.”
