“I have been in (RC) Radio Control for the last 40 years of my life. Be it Cars, Boats, Planes, Helicopters or as of late Multi rotors. This Hobby is my LIFE. I currently am a licensed PART 107 holder and have a business partnership with a friend of mine who I met through flying model airplanes.. We are using this new technology to map, take aerial photos and videos for a profit. I enjoy the Sundays we’ve spent together for the last 13 years at our own Private Flying Club hanging out and flying our newest toys and rebuilding ones we have resurrected from the dead. I personally own over 50 model aircraft! The BURDEN of this NPRM would kill the hobby for me! I have met some of the best individuals that I know though this hobby and forged friendships that stand the test of time. I understand there needs to be some regulation, but this is far too overreaching. I hope there is a way for the outcome to benefit all parties concerned.”
