“I have been flying RC planes in one way or another since 2009 starting with a parkzone Supercub LP and I have now moved up to large scale gas planes including my Top Flite P-51D kit. Flying is one of the ways that I am able to relax after the week is over, every Friday the UAS club at my University goes down to our dirt flying field for Foamie Fridays for about 2 hours doing Pylon racing, combat and just having fun flying around. every week some of the members make scratch built planes for that Friday, the nuisance of having to add additional required electronics would heavily Impact the members of the club since most of us don’t have planes that would be able to carry those electronics or can’t even afford the extra expenses of not only the Transponder but also the Wireless hot spot that would be required since the flying field is nowhere near wifi access.”
