“The LAANC reporting system should be more than enough to tell the FAA where we will be flying. I’ve been building and flying scratch built FPV models for more than 5 years. It’s something that I love to do with my children. It teaches problem solving, it’s a hands on learning experience for my kids, and we enjoy flying the models we’ve built. Requiring a Cell/internet based remote ID would make it cost prohibitive.”
