“20 years ago I was injured racing motorcycles. I have a spinal cord injury and am confined to a wheelchair. 6 years ago when I discovered building, flying and racing drones it’s like my life was complete again. I build, fly and race drones with my young sons. It is giving us a chance bond and learn together. Flying for me is freedom that I simply cannot get anywhere else. Racing drones allows me to be competitive in a sport again. We have a local multigp chapter that races weekly in a local park.”
