“All of these FAA proposals would destroy the hobby and hurt law abiding people. None of these proposals would stop anyone from doing something bad or illegal. If a person was not law abiding he would just not identify his equipment and do what ever he wants and where he wants. Forcing the good people to comply with the proposed new regulations would just hurt the hobby and not accomplish anything else. On the other hand if flying drones commercially as a business may be another thing.”
