“I fly sailplanes (soaring) exclusively. It is a quiet, beautiful, and graceful hobby. Keeping plane weight to a minimum is the PRIMARY concern of this sport. Adding this ID telemetry will kill this hobby. I am very much against placing any additional equipment / telemetry in sailplanes. If these proposals are enacted, I will be forced to leave the sport.”
