“I’ve been building/flying drones since I was 15yrs old. I am 18yrs old now, and going to school for electrical engineering. I build/race drones locally at parks, fields, and local events put on by milwaukee and chicago drone groups. If restrictions are put in place, it would prevent future generations the opportunity to learn and get a jump start on their education as I did. Drone racing is already an expensive hobby, but the additional restrictions will make it even more prohibitive as learning/education opportunity in the future and would limit it to only those that have an exorbitant amount of money to pour into the sport. I’d like to continue building and learning more about the electrical components I’m using, which further enhances my education experience as I pursue an electrical engineering degree at the University of Wisconsin.”
