“I have been involved in model aviation since the 1970s and am involved in mentoring others in the joy and educational aspects of the hobby. A few of my students and colleagues have gone on to general aviation and careers in commercial aviation as a result. I wholeheartedly believe that this hobby can play a major role in the S.T.E.M activities that are so beneficial for our youth, and future leaders in all sciences.”
