“I fly small, medium and moderately large RC helicopters, 250-700 scale. They are not FPV helicopters but in fact 3d sport helis that are 100% manual flight control line of site. I still don’t understand why helicopters and fixed wing planes are thrown into a “drone” multi rotor category. Space and weight is a HUGE factor in RC helicopters. It would be a good question if the new hardware could fit in most helicopters not to mention the added weight. My nearest club field is almost 2 hours drive one way so that’s not a option. I fly at a public part that has a area set aside just for flying RC aircraft but it’s only approved on the city level.”
