“I grew up learning to fly in city parks, state parks and on privet property, always depending on what was available for a safe fun environment. The hobby struggles to survive and encourage young new members when finding space to safely operate becomes over burdensome. I live near large amounts of BLM land currently but that does not allow for cellular or internet data, nor a big enough hobby community to support a club or purchased land. This is a hobby i grew up doing and am still able to do only in a low cost easy access situation. I love to share my hobby with people, but it can’t be overly burdensome on new and existing members.”
