“I only found this hobby 3 years ago or so, I build most of my own aircraft, and don’t have a ton of money to be required to pay for subscriptions and additional equipment to fly. The ever-extending reach of the FAA is a little ridiculous, and I feel like the ‘danger’ is very blown out of proportion, and directed at the wrong pilots. Freestylers, and Racers aren’t the ones flying against the rules most of the time, whereas the DJI crowd buys one off the shelf, and takes off without being required to learn anything about how to fly, or the rules, or any of that.”
