“I’ve ALWAYS been interested in RC planes, but for most of my life, the cost, complexity and risk made the sport out of reach for me. But in the last few years, new technology has made the planes more affordable and easier to fly. Now that I’m retired, I’m really loving the hobby, and flying as often as I can (always safely). But the proposed rules will surely ruin the sport as we know it. If these ridiculous rules go into effect, I and most of my friends have agreed that we will simply ignore them completely, and continue to fly where and how we have been, i.e. SAFELY.”
