“I have been flying UAV’s since I was 9 years old flying a scratch built 3 channel, over the corn fields on my grandfathers land. This proposal would make it illigal to pass down this legacy to my children. This is the safest hobby/sport I have ever been involved in. In my decades of participation I have never seen a need for these kinds of overreaching regulations. This proposal is obviously and oligarcharian push to take liberties from citizens in order to profit a few companies interests. I’m affraid that this NPRM is only promoting a culture of non-compliance. I stand against all measures of the FAA’s NPRM as it is currently written.”
