“I have been flying gliders and motor gliders for approx. five years. I mostly fly in remote turf farm fields well away from other people and possible obstructions that would otherwise inhibit my flight. I do fly within “line of sight” at all times and also use barometers in my air crafts so I can stay within the 400 FT. limit and monitor altitude. Frankly adding anything else into these birds such as a remote I.D. is not an option for me as things are already extremely packed into the fuselage as these planes are very streamlined to start. Flying for me is a relaxing experience and one that I use to unwind and help to reduce the stresses in my life. Adding these new restrictions could very well kill this hobby for me.”
