“I have been the hobby for 40 years. I was hoping to get to fly when I retire but with the cost associated with the new regulations and the 50 plus airplanes I have there will be no way for me to comply financially. I wish that the FAA would exempt CBO flying sites from the regulations. That is the safe way to get around all this. All these other backyard flyers, park flyers, and drone people need to get with a safe situation at a flying field.”
