“The proposed ideas by the FAA as usual pose much more of a detriment to the average citizen than a benefit. Aviation is shrinking as a whole and Radio Controlled Flight is a HUGE way to bring new people into aviation at a young age. The proposed laws by the FAA will make it near impossible for young people to get into the hobby easily as they should be able to. Subsequently, if these laws pass in the years to come we will see the youth in aviation continue to decline. We should be concentrating on promoting both Radio Controlled and full scale aviation right now but instead the FAA wants to create unnecessary road blocks to the general public.”
