“I am disabled and cannot travel freely to designated flying sites. Being able to fly around my yard is important to me. Safety and liability already influence my choices in flying. Requiring ID capabilities or traveling to designated sites will not improve the safety of others or commercial interests. Although the LAANC proposal, makes sense, common sense suggests that line of site already obviates mid-air collisions. Hobbyists are not interested in potentially damaging their aircraft with potential mid-air collisions–let alone the liability implications. Start small with the regulations and only expand in areas of concern.”
