“I’ve been interested in flight since I was a child. This began for me as a hobby and a way to learn by doing. Building and designing aircraft (planes and multirotors) lead to my learning to work with advanced electronics, designing circuits, CAD modelling and countless other skills I’ve picked up along the way. None of this would I have learned had it not been for this hobby. I’ve since become a certified part 107 pilot to try and make a business doing something I love. These newly proposed rules will make persuit of a business and even going back to flying for fun prohibitively complicated, expensive, and unenjoyable.”
