“Radio controlled model flight has been traditionally an elite hobby restricted to well-funded enthusiasts who are prepared to pour thousands of dollars into their passtime. Recent developments have seen the cost and barriers to entry into the hobby disappear such that someone can enjoy flight of a model that they have designed & built for just a couple of hundred dollars. Children can also be educated in the principles of flight and times of family bonding can be enjoyed within the the budget of a normal family. I would hate to see governments in any free country take away this pursuit from its innocent citizens.”
