“Flying is a great way to be outdoors and unplug from the day to day. I hope to be able to teach my kids how to fly when they are older. You can learn a lot about aerodynamics and aircraft structure with kit builds. It is very enjoyable to be able to build something and then see your efforts rewarded by having your model take flight. I wish there were more flying locations close by not less. In a day and age when people are hooked on screens and social media, we need outlets to get off those screens. Playing a flying video game and actually flying a model are 2 very different things.”
