“I began building and flying after I graduated from Purdue with a degree in Computer Engineering. The hobby has given me an outlet to use my degree in a way I am passionate about besides my day job. While building and flying has been fantastic one of my favorite aspects of the hobby has been the way modeling can bring people together to form friendships and have fun. Last year I started an after-school RC club at my local high school and we are able to provide the materials for students to build and fly Flite Test airplanes. This program is very important to me because it is an outreach that I get to use to help shape the next generation into thinkers and innovators who will go out and make the world a better place, whether in the Aviation field or elsewhere.”
