“I do a lot of personal hobby and academic work the the UAS field. This allowed me to a primary contributor in the field of UAS for the US government and academic institutions. I would have never become an asset if I did not have access to flite test tutorials and the ability to just go and try it out myself. I grew up in low income family and payed my way through college. Buying a used transmitter broke me and building foam planes from scratch based on free flite test tutorials were the only thing that afforded my entry into this work and hobby. With additional regulation and cost I would not be where I am today. The government will lose talented innovators in this space if they heavily regulate the field.”
