“Aviation including model aviation has been a large impetus to my educational path and my career path. If the proposed rules had been in place when I was growing up, it’s not clear that model aviation would have been feasible and if I would have taken the same path. My concern is that the proposed rules will put a damper on the next generations’ interest in aviation and will slow down technical and aviation innovation in the future.”
