“Boeing projects a need for over 200,000 new jobs in the aviation industry each year for at least the next ten years. Most airlines are desperately searching for qualified pilots to meet their growth plans. United Airlines has purchased a flight training school to help fortify their needs. Model aviation has been threshold into the industry for many of our greatest innovators and visionaries (I.e. Burt Routan, Neil Armstrong to name a few) For decades the model aviation community has been at the forefront in introducing young people to flight. Yet the FAA wants to bite the hand that feeds it.”
