“As a retiree who cannot afford golf, boating, travel, movies etc the $50 to $100 per year that I receive as gifts are specified as fun money. At present I build all my planes from foam boards. My radio and motors are left over from when I worked and spent more on the hobby. If I have to join AMA , a club plus pay any additional fees for the FAA and special equipment I am priced out of the hobby.”
