“I use my UAV responsibly and in compliance with every regulation the FAA currently has issued. My use is mostly hobbyist in nature in photography and videography of remote locations where I travel. In almost all of these places internet access is intermittent at best, completely abscent at worst. In addition, a 400′ restriction makes it impossible to get most videos or photos that I want to get. My other use is commercial photogrammetry and mapping, many times in remote areas as well. A 400′ restriction makes this application impossible and takes away from my business.”
