“I’m disabled unable to work. This hobby keeps me moving and gives me stuff to do to stay active. It also allows me to do stuff with my kids 14, 16, 20. I cant go to the park and run and play catch and stuff like that but for most of their life I have been able to build planes and teach them about science, engineering, aerodynamic, old fashion wood working and just how to use your hands and what you can do on a budget. Because of the hobby my son 16 is applying to engineering colleges. My one daughter 14 is looking into electrical engineering . All of my kids want to be full scale pilots because of the hobby. 2 of them are raising money to start taking lessons. This hobby give life to many that cant get out and do it big. It gives hope and educates the young kids. It keeps kids off of there phones and computers and gets them out building, flying and socializing in real life.”
