“I am a hobbyist and build and fly model multirotor aircraft. The main reason I enjoy this hobby is the process of scratch building the aircraft. This builds skills in electronics, mechanics and aviation. I enjoy teaching others these skills and innovating and advancing the technology. If these proposed rules were to take effect, they would end the hobby completely along with the innovation and educational aspects of the hobby. I have enjoyed this hobby for 4 years and practice and promote the safe flying of model aircraft.”
