“I have been flying Radio Control for over 50 years. This hobby has brought me a lot of pleasure, developed my building skills and design innovation. It has developed a billion dollar industry in which these new rules would greatly impact and would possibly hurt an industry that is growing. We fly safely and present no threat to anyone. I am a member and officer of a local AMA chartered club. Also a AMA contest director and leader member. This action will be a detriment to this hobby and would possibly destroy it in the long run. We do not need remote ID. It is costly and unproductive. We should allow CBO new sites to be added. It seems the whole idea is to get rid of this hobby so commercial drones can take over the airspace.”
