“I have been flying some form of Quad or airplane, FPV and LOS for over 6 years. Its a past time shared by many and the experience is very rewarding. I have grand kids that want to learn to fly, one of the 4 have already started on this path. The remote ID is a major concern. Items that can easily be used to teach the younger generation will be mostly illegal to do so and can not be retro-fitted with Remote ID. I understand there are safety concerns but the Hobbyist over the last 50 plus years have demonstrated this is not or should not be a concern. Yes we may have some bad apples out there, I say deal with those bad apples and let the rest of use flourish as we have done so for over 75 years.”
