“I have been in the hobby for almost four years. The thing that concerns me that most about the proposed regulations are the effects it will have on my ability to fly my amateur-built quadcopters on my family farm. My parents are in their late 80s and the idea that they will no longer be able to experience the joy of seeing the excited looks on my nieces and nephews, their great-grandchildren, faces as I fly my racing quad through gates and around flags is disheartening. I sincerely request that the FAA not deny my parents of this joy and provide accommodation for amateur-built aircraft on private property.”
