“Flying since 1973 , Flew some compatition , Scale , Pattern . Now for enjoyment . I am 78 years old and the Hobby keeps me young . I go to the flying field @ 3 times a week ( 62 mile round trip ) and fly 3 to 6 flights per visit . Smallest plane ws is 40″ to 106″ , 2 lbs to 15 lbs . I enjoy working on and repairing , one of the biggest fears I have is that the Aircraft that FAA approve , I will not be able to maintain or repair , FAA may require a certified mechanic and ALL my plan built aircraft may be limited to what was on the design when approved by the FAA .”
