“I’m a third generation full-scale pilot, an aerospace engineer, and have been involved in model aviation for over 30 years. At the age of 12, my father and I taught ourselves how to fly RC using an Ace Wizard powered by a Cox 049. That experience made me instantly realize that aviation is where i wanted to spend my life. Model aviation is the reason I am an aerospace engineer, it’s why i became a pilot, and it’s what i plan to do during retirement. I have even spent years developing my basement shop so that is perfectly tailored to how i enjoy the hobby. Saving model aviation has become my number one priority.”
